Structural nail, known as G nail, is a specialized fastening element designed for situations where the material should not be nailed all the way in, but rather mechanically “hung,” held externally, or temporarily positioned.
Type:
G nail / structural nail (Cyrillic “G”)
Material:
High‑quality steel
Usage:
Hammering (manual)
Available dimensions:
2,2 × 30 mm
Packaging:
1 kg
2,5 kg
5 kg
Instead of a classic head, it has a bent tip at a 90° angle, functioning as a hook that holds wooden elements externally — without piercing, sinking into the material, or damaging the surface.
Compared to a standard construction nail, the G nail allows quick installation and easy removal, without damaging battens, panels, and structural elements. The joint remains accessible, can be further reinforced with screws or glue, or temporarily used to hold material during processing and installation.
It is made of high‑quality steel and additionally processed by tumbling and cleaning, resulting in a smooth surface without sharp edges, easy hammering, and secure contact with wood.
– Type: G nail / stucco nail / structural nail
– Profile: bent at 90° – acts as a hook, without a classic head
– Material: high‑strength steel
– Body: smooth, straight – ensures stable contact with wood
– Processing: tumbling + mechanical cleaning (no sharp edges, easier hammering)
– Finish: natural steel, without zinc
– Application: manual hammering
The G nail is most often used in work where the material is not permanently fixed, but temporarily held under pressure until processed or additionally secured. An ideal solution for construction work, formwork, auxiliary fixing lines, and carpentry assembly.
Most common professional applications:
Construction
– temporary fixing of battens, formwork, and substructures
– holding material during leveling and processing
– assembly of frames, cladding, and structural segments
– molds and spacers during pouring and adjustment
Carpentry and assembly
– elements later dismantled or supplemented
– holders for cladding, panels, and thin structures
– auxiliary joint in gluing or assembling process
Packaging and industry
– crates, boxes, supports, transport foldable elements
– pallets and industrial packaging
– temporary securing of material during processing
Workshops and service work
– wooden holders during processing
– easier positioning of panels, templates, and profiles
– assistance in processing without permanent fixing
– allows hooking instead of complete nailing
– ideal for temporary, accessible, and removable joints
– does not damage the wooden surface
– quick installation and easy removal
– excellent choice for battens, formwork, molds, and structures
– tumbled and cleaned – precise and professional finish
– universal size 2.2 × 30 mm
– packages 1 / 2.5 / 5 kg — for professional and hobby use
